Perfectionism is not something we conquer, it is something we understand and grow to befriend.
My understanding of perfectionism began as this all-consuming omnipotence I had to overcome, outsmart, and recover from. However, I have come to see it not as an enemy but as a guiding force that drives us to higher awareness and deeper connection. Paradoxically, true mastery of perfectionism comes not from eradicating it but from learning to tame and befriend the beast within. Only then do we transcend our perceived limits and uncover gifts more profound, exquisite, and perfect than we ever imagined.
Part of us knew it all along (hence, we seek help). This realization comes with its share of experiences that are not easy but necessary.
Despite outward success — a PhD in Clinical Psychology, a marriage, and two children by 30 — I struggled with an inner void. The end of my marriage forced me to confront patterns of emotional disconnection, control, and self-criticism that perfectionism masked for years. Only when I took responsibility for my emotional regulation did I uncover a profound truth: transformation begins within.
Today, I guide individuals through this same journey of integration. My approach blends evidence-based psychology with mindfulness, spirituality, and energetics to help clients move beyond perfectionism and reconnect with their authentic selves. This work is not about fixing—it’s about empowering.

Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and raised in Miami within a multicultural family, my Jewish, Greek-Turkish, and Costa Rican-Polish heritage has shaped my ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Guided by the mission of Tikkun Olam (the pursuit of social justice), I specialize in helping:
- Perfectionists: High-achieving individuals grappling with burnout, existential questions, and self-doubt.
- Mothers and Caregivers: Women navigating maternal mental health and its generational impact.
- Leaders: Professionals seeking balance, fulfillment, and meaningful relationships.
Through our work together, clients can break free from limiting patterns and cultivate a deep sense of authenticity. Self-worth is not a result of luck, effort, or grit but is delicately cultivated with reverence and tenacity. I aim to help you move beyond surface-level success to achieve confidence, clarity, and inner peace.

Perfectionism is not something we conquer, it is something we understand and grow to befriend.
My understanding of perfectionism began as this all-consuming omnipotence I had to overcome, outsmart, and recover from. However, through my personal and professional journey as a clinical psychologist, I have learned that it is a guiding force that informs and impulses us into greater heights of awareness and deeper depths of connection and integration. Only in this way can anyone achieve what is the ultimate parody and paradox of perfectionism. It is only until we learn to tame and befriend the beast that resides within us that we transcend what we once believed to be our potential. We uncover gifts far greater, more exquisite, and more perfect than we ever imagined. Part of us knew it all along (hence, we seek help). This realization comes with its share of experiences that are not easy, but necessary.
